In order to transport goods abroad you first need a licence for public road transport of goods in international traffic.
Public road transport is transport carried out on the basis of a contract, against payment, by road transport operators who own or otherwise operate road transport vehicles.
The Customs Clearance at Home (CVH) procedure allows goods to be cleared more quickly and at lower cost. Customs clearance is carried out remotely, using an electronic procedure with electronic signature, and customs formalities are completed without having to go to the internal customs post. In this way, goods are loaded, in the case of export, or unloaded, in the case of import, directly at the trader’s premises (in a warehouse or other authorised place). In the case of selection for control, the customs official goes to the place where the goods are located.
Customs clearance at home is applicable to all customs procedures and re-export customs-approved treatment or use (with the exception of the outward processing customs procedure, type B customs warehouse – public warehouse, and in the case of introduction/removal of goods transported (by) several consignees/shippers with the same transport unit (groupage).
